NCII Certificate in
Counselling Skills & Practice (Part Time) |
This
part-time course is designed for (a) those who have
little or no professional experience but wish to extend
their knowledge of interpersonal and counselling skills
prior to undertaking more advanced training in
counselling at Degree level and (b) healthcare
professionals, teachers, social workers, managers and
others who wish to increase their interpersonal and
counselling skills and apply them within their
professional practice.
Students undertake a number of key areas that explore
the relationship between counselling and society.
Experimental learning and skills practice are central to
this course. The course is designed to be flexible to
meet people’s busy lives and will be presented in a
number of locations throughout the country. A

experience of counselling prior to undertaking more advanced training in
counselling, psychotherapy, psychology or other related disciplines.
The programme is contains a Module from our degree programme and participants will have access to progression
routes within the National Counselling Institute of Ireland’s degree
